Will "Genie" replace a live answer?

Yes, you can instruct "Genie" to take calls and deliver messages to you at a fraction of the cost of a live person.

Will it work with any cellular phone carrier?
|
EasyTel has designed the Universal Office to work with any cellular phone carrier. You may move from carrier to carrier without any interruption to your EasyTel Service.

What equipment do I have to buy or have installed?
|
No special equipment or installation is required. "Genie" will work with your existing communication tools. (Excluding rotary dial telephones)

When I receive a fax…where does it go?
|
Faxes are stored in your virtual fax box until you retrieve them and delete them.

Do I need a fax machine and/or fax line?
|
No, you do not need your own fax machine or dedicated fax line. "Genie" stores faxes within your Universal Office. You instruct what fax number you want to send the documents to and she delivers them immediately. You also have the option to convert faxes to any e-mail address and view them online before printing.

How do I receive a “page” if I don’t have a pager?
|
"Genie" stores the callers’ page in the pager area of your Universal Office. You will be notified that a party has paged you and the number that they wish a return call at.

How does the call screening work on my caller ID telephone?
|
When you receive a call through your Universal Office to a follow me number with caller ID service you will only see the EasyTel number not the actual caller’s number.

Can I make and receive long distance calls through EasyTel?
|
Yes, "Genie" can be used in similar ways to a calling card. Simply request the long distance coverage plan to receive discounted rates.

Can "Genie" find me if I am out of the country?
|
You can instruct "Genie" to find you almost anywhere in the world.

Can I call forward my old number to my Universal Office number?
|
You can forward your existing number to your Universal Office number. Be aware that if you call forward your existing number to your Universal Office number that your follow me cannot be to that same existing number. It will create a loop in the follow me. "Genie" will be answering herself. You can however, call forward your existing number and have follow me to another line.

Can I pick my Universal Office number?
|
This is called a vanity number. You may make a special request but there are no guarantees that it will be available. It takes approximately 30 days to process the order.

How long does it take to get my account set up?
|
All accounts can take up to 2 or 3 business days to be set up.
